Steve discovered his mechanical aptitude and passion for German cars early in life. By the time he finished high school he was involved in the automotive trade and was rebuilding air cooled Volkswagen engines daily in a busy repair shop. In 1988 Steve and his wife Laura moved to Penticton and worked for Volkswagen and BMW dealerships until he decided to start his own auto repair shop, with a focus on German brands. Since then, he has been creating a reputation for quality service and high end diagnostics. After all his 30 plus years in the industry, Steve is thankful to his valued clients for their continued support and enabling him to pursue his automotive passion.
From owning an impressive model car collection as a young boy to tuning up his own cars as a young adult, Erik has always had an eye for mechanical tinkering. After completing his diploma in electronic engineering technology, Erik gained more appreciation for the technological advancements found in todays modern vehicles. With his strong electronics foundation and guidance from his father, Erik decided to follow in Steve's footsteps and began his automotive apprenticeship in 2013. Throughout his time at Steve's Autotech, Erik has enjoyed helping customers keep their rides running smoothly. He is always willing to go the extra mile by personally explaining to clients every detail that goes into their repair and helping them learn the most effective and efficient ways to maintain their vehicles.
